Students of Gujarat University Animation Department won the 1st and second prizes in ‘Live Action Short Filmmaking’ at ‘Renaissance’, the recently held annual management and cultural festival of B. K School of Management, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

04 March | CGAT 2010 presentation
ToonSkool congratulates Mr. Satish Bhavankar - Mentor Content and Training Department (Corporate Office Bangalore), in the event of his research paper on FUTURE TECHNOLOGIES IN ANIMATION being accepted for presentation at CGAT 2010, Singapore. The conference will be taking place at Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore on April 6th and 7th 2010.
The best ten papers accepted at CGAT 2010 presentation will also be published in the CGAT 2010 proceedings in addition to the publication in the International Journal of Computer Games Technology, a Hindawi's journal, that maintains the highest standards of peer review, with more than 6,000 internationally-recognized Editors serving on the Editorial Boards of Hindawi's journals.

Toonskool congratulates Tejas Hadkar, student of Thakur - Toonskool for having been selected to present an animation short clip using TATA DOCOMO logo. The event was conducted by TATA DOCOMO.
6 February | Thakur Toonskool students at Photohraphy contest
Toonskool congratulates Rinkesh Pulekar and Aditya Tavdey, students of Thakur - Toonskool for having been selected to attend the seminar on 06-02-2010 at Ravindra Natya Mandir, and receive an award for their achievement.
The students participated in a photography contest oraganized by, "The Young Cubs Group of professional youngsters". The competition was based on theme Global Warming and was open for photographers aged between 13-28 yrs.
24 May | Short Film Festival at St Alberts - Toonskool
Short film fest was inaugurated by Mr. LAL JOSE, a leading director in malayalam cinema. The function took place in the presense of Manager Rev. Clement Valluassery , Director and Principal.
44 Shortfilms were screened during the fest which includes award winning shorts, experimental animations, etc.
